We’re looking for a Project Manager to drive the full cycle of launching new business entities in international markets — from strategic planning to onboarding the first customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project cycle for launching new business entities in selected markets — from strategic planning to the first customers.
- Coordinate all launch-related activities across departments: legal, compliance, IT, product, marketing, and finance.
- Participate in assessing new country markets for entry and Defining new product opportunities to expand the company’s lending portfolio.
- Maintain detailed project documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal deadlines, reporting progress to the team.
- Act as the single point of accountability for launch-phase execution.
- Search for, negotiate, and finalize contracts with local vendors (e.g., office space, internet, telephony, etc.)
- Participate in the hiring process of the initial local team
- Travel to target countries to support on-site coordination and communication during business launch
Expected Results:
- New businesses launched in selected countries in full scope and on time.
- All internal teams and external partners are properly aligned and coordinated throughout the launch.
- Documentation for potential, in-progress, and launched businesses is perfectly organized and convenient to use.
- Launched businesses are handed over to the operations team in a fully functional, well-configured, and properly documented state.
Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in FinTech, digital lending, or financial services.
- Proven track record in launching regulated or tech-enabled financial services from scratch.
- Hands-on experience in delivering projects strictly using theWaterfall methodology, from initiation to closure.
- Excellent cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, time management, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional regional languages are a plus.
