Our client is an international technology startup developing cutting-edge defense solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join a team of talented engineers working on critical projects related to airspace security and protection.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electromechanical products, including mechanical assembly and electrical wiring or component installation
- Conduct functional testing of electromechanical products to verify they operate according to specifications (e.g., electrical, mechanical tests)
- Verify the integrity of electrical connections, wiring, and mechanical assemblies for proper functionality
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with electromechanical systems (e.g., electrical components, motors, sensors, PCBA boards)
- Program various types of electrical modules as part of the standard product bring-up process
- Rework existing products and support various unexpected activities that arise in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience building electromechanical products
- Intermediate level of English
- Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., screw drivers, pliers, drills)
- Basic understanding of electrical principles
- Experience making cables and harnesses from scratch
- Highly proficient in soldering precision electronic components
- Basic computer skills
- Comfortable with resets and changes in a fast-paced R&D environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
- Working knowledge of CAD software, SOLIDWORKS is a plus
- Quality standards and corrective/preventative actions processes
