We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to create unique datasets and dashboards enabling greater understanding of the effectiveness and efficiency of the advertising media campaigns we have put in place for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and access the available advertising and response data that is available from vendors we purchase media from on behalf of our clients (for example Google, Facebook, TheTradeDesk, and many other vendors).
- Understand and access available consumer behavior data coming from client websites (typically via Google Analytics), social pages and feeds and other consumer behavior data.
- Understand the way advertising campaigns are set up broken down by product, message, creative, placement, and other definitions.
- Set up dashboards and spreadsheets that combine data elements from multiple sources to enable overall views of campaign effectiveness.
- Create Tableau reporting dashboards accessible to agency and clients to give immediate insights into campaign performance matched to consumer behaviors via client data, or client platform data (Google analytics, etc).
- Create SQL queries to extract data from company servers for import into dashboards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years proven experience as a Data Analyst, clear understanding of the marketing/advertising industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software:
- Required: SQL, Tableau, Excel;
- Helpful: Python, R, large dataset analytics experience (Hadoop, Spark), Powerpoint, Correlation and Regression modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- A deep understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Upper intermediate English is a must.
- Willingness to work with EST time zone (working hours 15:00 — 23:00).
