Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: The Strategic Director is responsible for defining and leading the strategic vision for brand communication media plans. This should align with the business objectives of our clients.
  • Research & Insights: Oversee all market research, consumer insights, and data analysis activities. Use this information to inform and shape strategy, ensuring that our approach is data-driven and grounded in the latest market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Collaboration: Act as a leader in developing strategies with the Client team. Ensure that these strategies align with client expectations and needs, fostering strong relationships and open communication with all stakeholders.
  • Presentation: Present strategic recommendations to both clients and internal teams. Act as a thought leader, clearly communicating strategic direction and rationale, and inspiring confidence in our approach.
  • Stay Updated: Keep the agency up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and strategic methodologies. This involves ongoing learning and development, as well as sharing knowledge and insights with the wider team.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic planning or a similar role within an advertising or media agency.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans for high-profile clients.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools, data analysis software, and strategic planning frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of media channels, including digital, TV, radio, OOH, print, and social media.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and strategic methodologies.
  • Knowledge of global and local market dynamics, consumer behavior, and media landscape.
