Responsibilities
- Conduct trademark and copyright searches to identify potential conflicts.
- Manage the trademark and copyright registration process.
- Monitor trademark and copyright usage for infringement.
- Enforce trademark and copyright rights through cease-and-desist letters, litigation, or other legal means.
- Monitor online marketplaces and social media for unauthorized use of the company’s brand.
- Respond to online infringement and brand disparagement.
- Develop strategies to protect the company’s online reputation.
- Draft and negotiate contracts related to intellectual property.
- Stay up-to-date on intellectual property laws and regulations.
- Advise the company on all matters related to brand protection.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and business development, to ensure brand consistency.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in intellectual property law, preferably with a focus on brand protection.
- Strong understanding of trademark, copyright, and other relevant intellectual property laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with publishing of Apps in Google Play and App Store (will be a plus).
