LegalTech Specialist

Deep Knowledge Group is seeking a bold, bright, and ambitious LegalTech Specialist hungry for real challenges and complex project goals to work on a wide variety of conventional in-house legal projects as well as new DeepTech AI and Big Data Analytics projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of internal legal matters independently, supporting the launch and ongoing operation of various platform solutions (e.g., a marketplace of B2B services for various technological businesses).

As a LegalTech Specialist, you possess the expertise to analyze and leverage the wealth of data gathered by Deep Knowledge Group’s Data Science and Technological foresight initiatives.

Deep Knowledge Group is an international consortium of for-profit and non-profit organisations focused on advancing the development of Frontier Technologies for Social Good, DeepTech and Longevity Industrialization, well known for prioritizing its Data Science, analytics, and knowledge/insight-generation departments as its most precious assets (even above its financial and investment subsidiaries) and for its sophisticated DeepTech analytics, predictive forecasting, and benchmarking.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal compliance guidance covering UK, EU, US and Gulf region as to B2B and B2C financial, healthcare, IP and data privacy legislation
  • Conduct extensive legal research on numerous business risks (financial/health advice provision, B2B services provision, online-services marketplace, healthcare platforms, etc.)
  • Assess the risks associated with our business models and implement business-focused, all-encompassing risk mitigation strategies
  • Support various companies corporate matters
  • Develop various legal documents for platforms (Privacy Notices, Privacy Policies, Cookie Notices, Terms and Conditions, etc., as well as various other documents to support the platform’s ongoing activities)
  • Review and negotiate various agreements with potential partners

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Law or International law
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in either of: big law firms / legal boutiques / top-tier local or international companies (IT companies will be a plus)
  • Fluent legal/business English. Advanced drafting skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in creating presentations and reports
  • Familiarity with AI, FemTech, DeepTech, Advanced Technologies, and related industries is a plus
  • Familiarity with supporting corporate matters in the UK
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Proven management experience
  • Experience in supporting companies registered in England is a MUST!
